Okay. Weight is up 3 pounds. Pffft! No time to panic. I can get rid of it in a few days.

We are on our way home. Cher dropped us off at the airport this morning. I am going to really miss the festivities of the rest of Tournament Week. Sigh...

I am always amazed at Cher and Milt's hospitality. We get along really well when it comes to living in close quarters for a week or two, whether it's in Napa Valley or at their house. I guess it's because we all get together and do things together, but have no problem doing out own thing. No one feels like they must be entertained or have to do the entertaining. It's a casual atmosphere, no pressure to perform, no pressure to be grateful (although Joe and I continue to be thankful and amazed at their generosity!), and no pressure to be together all the time and no guilt! It's like being with myself!

Anyway, we are now on the plane. It's a small commuter plane and no lie, but Superman was on our plane. Well, his alter ego is anyway. We are sitting here and I look up and lo, and behold! There he is.

Clark Kent.
In full regalia.
Single handedly making announcements, barking out orders, manning the drink cart. The only problem is that his high effeminent voice just doesn't match his 6-feet-plus frame and Clark Kent glasses! Times must be really tough in the newspaper profession.

Milt's Famous Fish Fry

In addition to the tournament, Milt's Famous Fish Fry is one of the premier events of Memorial Week. I look forward to it every single year.

Milk digs a hole in his backyard and lights a fire. Then he puts the world's biggest cast iron skillet over it, fills it with oil, and quick fries Lake Erie Perch that either he or a friend caught, which he has hand battered in egg and beer and italian bread crumbs.

If you have never had Lake Erie Perch, you are missing something.
And if never have the chance to eat Milt's Famous Lake Erie Fried Perch, then you are defintely missing something!

The fish is tender, succulent, flavorful, and just mighty good eatin'.
I can't explain it in any other way.

Then you throw in a whole bunch of their friends and neighbors and you have one fantastic party!

I make my Korean Dumplings. This year I made a hundred of them. And they were pretty near all gone by the end of the night.

Tomorrow morning we are flying home. And I can have another year of looking forward to the Fish Fry.

I might try to make the batter at home. I wonder if it will work with Grey Sole. We have some of that in our Gigantic Freeze in the basement.

I see pregnant people.

Mostly men.

I am seeing a lot of overweight people, who need to use more sunscreen. The woman are a mix between the sterotypical skinny minny country club ladies who do lunch, and fatter women who are having a hard time hefting their bodies up and down the hills.

But the men! Wow. I honestly can't say there are a lot of thin men at all. Most of them seem normal size, which is sad considering we are the most obese country in the world. They are not fat all over. But they have this HUGE gut in front. They look like they stuffed a big pillow under their shirts. And one of them actually laid his beer right on top, using his protruding belly like a table. Good grief!!

Right now, I am feeling fit, thin and mighty fine!

This just goes to tell you that you cannot get in shape playing golf. Really.

What the frik is a crik??

It's a CREEK!!!

And then Joseph aswers, "it's not in the crik. It's on the bank."

Fatty fannie

Good Grief! And that is an understatement!

She was sitting on the leaderboard plaform with other volunteers that put the names up and down and report the scores overall. She had to be one of the biggest people I have ever seen! Cher spotted her first. It wasn't so bad but she looked very uncomfortable. Then we passed her again and this time, she was bent over with her backside up facing the crowd for all the world to see. And she really needed to wear longer pants that were a few sizes bigger!

Can we please use a little discretion and understand the limitations of our size???

All I have to say is, that just can't be healthy!

The stander

If you're right at the line of the fareway and there are is a crowd behind you, do you think you can SIT YOUR BUTT DOWN???

I hate it when people have no regard for others!!

The smoker

Ok. I don't get it. What is it with cigars!!!

ARG! They stink. They cause mouth cancer. And they make you look OLD!

So, can you please take that cigar downwind somewhere?
Yah. That water hazard is good.

Stinky bonehead... PFFFFT!!!

The talker

Shoot me now.

A few minutes ago, some guys sat down behind me and one of them said "oh good, we're close but far enough away so we can talk."

And he hasn't shut up since. ARG!!!!

Babies on the golf course

Okay. We are on hole 12. Everyone is being quiet for the golfers. And what do I hear from the outer edges? A baby.

It's not just a baby sound, it's a baby SHRIEK! So, you have golfers on the green trying to concentrate. And the officals' arms are up for quiet. And you have this baby's shrieking in the background.

And it's not a baby that's been in the world long enough to be seasoned. No. This baby looks like it was born a MONTH ago. The kind that doesn't respond to anything but light, hunger, and messy diapers. And the mom is shaking it up and down. Wow. That looks like it's so effective!! NOT!

Babies do not belong on a golf course. Especially not during tournament week!!!

A beautiful day for golf!

We are back on the golf course watching the Memorial Tournament. Finally made it out for a full day which is good considering we are leaving tomorrow morning.

Do not even ask me WHY we are leaving on the FIRST DAY of the Tournament!!! ARG!!! From this point on, NOTHING is going to deter me from my Memorial Week Vacation! HFFFF!!!

It's a beautiful day - warm in the sun, cool in the shade, humidity is low, and you need a thin jacket. Just perfect.

We plan to be out here for as long as possible since Milt's Famous Fish Fry is tonight and I am making dumplings for the event. A hundred of them. I need an hour to put them together and another hour to cook them.

Also, have I mentioned that my diet is kinda barely under control? Portion control, however, is none existent. Sigh...

Christmas Photo

Finally made it to the golf course today. We did make it to a few hours of the last day of practice rounds. Actually, it was a pro-am tournament. You knew who the pros were and who the ams were. The ams just didn't quite make it to the green or to the hold. Ya know? Anyway, you can find awesome pictures on Cher's Blog. She sent me the pictures but I haven't downloaded them yet.

We got there in time to watch four golfers (one of whom was Chris DiMarco) do some advertising photo shoot for gortex golfing rain gear. I thought people didn't play golf in the rain because of lightning. Anyway... they made the four walk up and down a hill about 10 times. The crowd ended up shouting out helpful remarks on how to walk and hold the clubs! It was quite comical!

We met up with K.J.Choi on the course. But not his wife and son. I have to figure out a way to invite him to dinner. I wish I knew more Korean! ARG!!! I might have to bring my niece next year so she can translate. We can invite him to dinner. Heck, he might be staying the whole week with us by the time we're through!

And one of the pictures is of me and K.J. Choi. I actually figured out the right words in my head to ask him for a picture together. I had on my KJ signed hat, and when he turned around, he looked up and saw it. I had Cher and Joe walking behind me mumbling and egging me on! They are absolutely insufferable when they are together!! It's not a matter of having the nerve to say something to him, because I have no problem speaking up! I just didn't know how to say what I wanted to say in Korean! I didn't want to say something and have him look at me and then stand there going, "uh, huh, duh..." And if they hadn't kept jeering at me, I could have translated my thoughts faster! Pffffft! And at one point, Cher screams out "Dukboki!" which a FOOD! Actually, it's a vendor food that you buy on the streets of Korean!!! ARG!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Anyway, I think the picture of me and K.J. look pretty good. That is going to be our Christmas Card this year. Happy happy happy!!

Oh. And the one of me and Joe turned out pretty good, too!

A mani and a pedi

I am so happy! My hands and feet are sparkling and new!

Yesterday, Cher and I went to get a pedicure. I hadn't had one in years. So, I went along for the ride and ended up with a really nice pampering treatment! I had forgotten what a professional pedicure was like. Nothing like having your feet and legs massaged!

It was so nice, that we went back today to get a manicure. My hands, nails and cuticles haven't looked this nice in years.

When I get home, I am going to see about finding a salon. We have about 6 of them within a half mile radius of where we live but I never thought to walk in and get the menu of services. I am going to have to do that.

I used to get manicures regularly. Until I ended up with a blackberry and typing on the teensy weensy keyboard was impossible with any kind of nail. So now, I clip them really short so I never thought about going to get them manicured.

Now, I will have to practice typing on the Blackberry with slightly longer nails. I wonder how long that will last.

Oh, and yes, I will be making it out to the golf course today. In about 15 minutes!!

Dublin Rec Center

Ok. I am sitting in the sitting area of the Dublin Rec Center.

I just finish my weight workout and Cher just sat down from a run.
The sitting area is nice with nice chairs!
The place is well-kept and has a little cafe area.
The pool area is quite big and they even have an indoor track that overlooks a badminton court! Lots o' Asian women playing Badminton. And let me tell you... they play mean!!! And if you have never tried to play badminton, you should. It's a really tiring, heart-racing sport!

Hmmm... I wish Brookline had a Dublin Rec Center. I wonder if we could petition the town to build one? We already have a pool. They've already voted to raise our taxes (again). I would definitely join if they built it!

A race and a parade

I ran the first 5k of the year this morning. It was a memorial day race. They gave out really nice technical shirts with a nice little logo on the front. They also gave out water belts with water bottle that sayd GO ARMY on them. And the hard plastic bandaid dispensers with bandaids. These hold about 4 or 5 bandaids and are excellent for carrying during a race or a run - completely water proof and at the ready. Unless you have a big honkin' blister and then there aren't enough bandaids.

And what race is complete without the giveaway samples of Aquafor. I love Aquafor. I immediately set about filling the water bottle up with a handful or two. Then I took Cher's water bottle and right as I was starting to fill that, I saw small empty boxes from the sample calcium they gave away, so I gave the water bottle back to Cher and proceeded to fill that small box. I ended up with about 50 of those sample tubes. Did I mention that I love Aquafor?

Anyway, I ran with Cher's Dad and the Transplant Guy (aka Neal). Hmmm... actually, I started out with Cher's Dad, and ended up finishing by myself a minute or two behind them. Then I went back to run Neal in. I met Neal's wife, and Ryan, the Transplantor.

Ryan is really quiet and seemed to be doing quite well. Cher says that Ryan and Neal have known each other since about grade school. Wow. What kinda testament to a friendship is it when one person gives one of his kidneys to another? Wow.

And Michelle (aka Transplant Guy's wife) is super sweet. And what kinda testament is it to a love so strong that it lasts through years and years of ill health and the toll that that can have on the human spirit, never mind a marriage. Wow.

Cher's Dad is a military guy. I love him. I love him a lot. I look at him and I see the years of service. I thanked him for all he did in his years of service. He sort of brushed it off. As all good military men do. He did excellent. He is thinking of doing Bataan next year. I am thinking that might be the year for me to go, too!

After the race, we rode up to see Milt in the Dublin Memorial Day Parade. He looked might dapper and held a rifle. It was a small parade but it will more filled with pride than one of those big ones you see on TV during Thanksgiving with all those balloons the size of houses. Seriously.

And did I mention that Milt looked might fine and dapper in his outfit? It looked like 10 years had melted off him. He loved that we were there, I think. His face lit up when he saw us. Anyway...

We marched with the parade and ended up in a small area in the back of a small cemetary. There were prayers and speeches, the raising of the Flag, a 21 gun salute and taps. The echo taps. Nothing brings tears to my eyes more than taps and these were just excellent. The main melody up close, with a far away distant echo of the same, as if calling to some unknown and unseen brethren, in the distance. The loneliness of that distance. I can only imagine that was how it must have been in the war, as you stand watch or guard or whatever they all do to make sure that we have peace and freedom for all.

There was not a dry eye in the place when it was all said and done.

Week 21 Training Recap

What a week trying to get everything wrapped up for vacation. And my day off on Friday became a half day because of WORK WORK WORK!!! Pfffftt!!! Anyway, I managed to do what I could and nothing more. Definitely no heroic efforts this week. Not unless you count trying to take Friday off to get my long ride in before leaving for vacation, which I did manage to do, by the way. Anyway, the week look liked this.
Monday: Scary Trainer. Done.
Tuesday: Run 30 minutes. Run 3.1 miles.
Wednesday: Scary Trainer. Done.
Thursday: Run 30 minutes. Ride 11.5 miles.
Friday: Bike 75 minutes. Run 5.81 miles.
Saturday: Run 75 minutes. Ride 28 miles.

Total Running Miles: 8.91 miles (record: 26.9 miles)
Total Biking Miles: 34.5 miles (record: 67.8)
Total Swimming Yards: 0 yards (record: 3300)
Total Strength Training Days: 2 times

For the next week of training, I am in Ohio. Let's see how long it takes for my new resolve to melt down.
Monday: Run a 5k.
Tuesday: Lift at Cher's gym.
Wednesday: Run 30 minutes.
Thursday: Lift at Cher's gym.
Friday: Travel back home in the morning. Bike 45 minutes.

A Ball Park and a Lake

It's been a while since I could mark down one more ball park in my quest to visit every major league ball park in America before I die. Yup. Yup Yup Yup.

Okay. I'm not what you call a sports fiend. Or even a fanatic. Or maybe a fan in the true sense of the word. Anyway, the truth is that I could really get into it but I don't because I am not nice if I am immersed in something. I cannot stop short of anything less than obsessed and crazed. And I turn into a spitting, fire breathing, ear smokin' demon. In other words, I am not someone you want to be around. So I keep myself at a distance. Anyway, I always enjoy a good competition. And I don't really care who's playing unless it's the Yankees or the Tarheels. Hmmm... or DOOK or the Red Sox.... Anyway...

Yesterday, we went to another ball park. Jacob's Field. So called until a guy named Progressive and outpayed poor Jacob for naming rights. It's in Cleveland and we drove down there with Milt and Cher and we even had our picture taken in front. We had a nice lunch beforehand at some place I can't remember the name of but their menu had beer and lots of unhealthy beer pub food.

It's a very nice, very clean ball park. We had pretty good seats even if you couldn't see the ball over the plate but the food was good and we had $5 vouchers. Um, like about $30 worth which we split.

Unfortunately, the Indians lost in extra innings. But that's okay. We ended up cheering for them until the bitter end.

The funniest thing...right before we go in, a cop comes up to Joe and starts talking to him! Turns out they are fraternity brothers! Good Grief!! Different chapters bu the same frat. The Brotherhood of a whole different kind. The cop had seen Joe's tattoo on his ankle - the fraternity symbol - and came up to talk to him. They compared chapters, had a few chuckles, etc etc etc.

After the game, we got a tour of Cleveland. Ended up at the lake. Lake Erie. I remember having gone there with my Dad. I think my brother had been with us. We lived in New Jersey at the time and we had gone for a drive. Yah. A long one. Anyway, I remember at that time, there was nothing around and we pulled into a small gravel 2 or 3 car lot and looked out over the ocean (aka The Lake - it's big enough to look like the ocean...)

This time we pulled into a big paved parking lot, with lots of people having picnics and walked down to the lake on a special path. We climbed the rocks, which all looked like giant carved anchors, and looked out. It was really kind of neat. The first time was with my Dad. My best buddy. This time, it was with best buddies of a different kind - Cher and Milt and my Hunny Bunny.

It was a memorable Sunday. Good game, good food, good friends. Remember good memories.

Blow out

This morning I am back on my diet. Thank goodness!!!

Yesterday was my blow out. And when I got up this morning I felt so bad. I mean, I wasn't event HUNGRY! GOOD GRIEF!!

Ugh. I am so happy to be back on my diet. I think I need to start learning how to exercise restraint on my cheat days!

NOT taking Friday off...

Work is trying to kill me.
I ended up riding this morning.
Then I ended up working.
Like a damn dog.

Sigh... it never ends!!!

Why is it that things are always due the day you come back from vacation?
And why is it that everyone wants to meet with you during the week that you are out??
Not to mention that people want to know who is covering for whom because, you know... if they get voice mail or an out of office message, the world is going to cave it. Yah.

Okay people!!!

Phew! That felt better.

Fat America

I am at Fenway.

If you want to see a microcosm of average America, go to a ball park.

I have never seen so many fat, overweight people in any single location. And they are all stuffing themselves with peanuts, hot dogs and beer. Young and old, it doesn't matter! Good Grief! I feel TINY in this crowd!

On another note, the Mighty Casey (aka Manny aka The Weird One aka Himself Being Himself) has struck out. Happy happy!

Scary Trainer note

Tonight, ST told me that I need to drop my daily caloric intake by 100 calories!

Okay. Not forever. Just to get me off this damn plateau. Especially where I'm traveling a lot and so I need to make it a point to cut back. It's been about a month hovering around this weight. 4 more pounds and I will be where I weighed before I met met Joe in 2003. That's not too bad, I know.

4 more pounds before that, and I will be where I was in 2000-2001. I stopped training around that time too, come to think of it. WQeight training. I did no cardio at that time. No running. No biking. Nothing. Even walking was something I avoided! And I weight a lot less, was a lot more toned, and was very small in terms of size.

ST was happy I was cooking all next week when I get to my good friend Cher's. But I am not sure how long it will last.

I wasn't ABOUT to tell him that I was swapping Saturday and Sunday around! And I certainly wasn't going to tell him about the Fish Fry that Milt has every year! Nope. ST is kinda scary when you don't listen to him.

Maybe he thought that if he lowered it to 1600 calories, I'd end up binging by 100 calories less!

Isn't he smart!

Hair cut

I finally got my hair cut yesterday. I had to keep postponing the appointment because of work! Grrrr....

I usually like to get it cut about every 7 weeks, give or take a week. This time I had to postpone it TWICE for a couple of weeks each time! ARG!!! So I ended up with a flat head!. Flat! Yes! The hair stuck to my head like a skull cap!

Anyway... now it looks great. I am leaving it a bit longer - growing it out for the summer. We'll see how it holds up. I have a feeling that I might have Flat Head Syndrome faster than usual since it's longer. And the ends curl up. Yes. I have hair that curls. And I am going bald. But we won't dwell on that...

There's an upside anyway...
At least now I'll look like a girl when I wear a hat.

Noticeably Out of Shape

This morning I tried doing intervals. Lest we have forgotten, let's remember where I was...oh... about a month ago. Okay. Six week. Whatever.

I was doing intervals. I had worked my way up to about 12x30 seconds of 6:30 pace. That's not too bad.

Fast forward. I tried running 6:30 pace. Uh... okay. Let me almost fall off the back of the treadmill. Yes. Treadmill. I did it on the treadmill. Shoot me. Anyway... It turned out that I could only do 3x30 seconds of 7:30 pace. I guess I have some work to do.

Week 19 Training Recap

Last week, as we all know, I was in India. And it was hard starting out but things got harder. It was not really the working out; it was the FOOD!!! I never realized how many foods are immersed in sauces, made of carbos, and just all sugar or fat! ACK! My stomach never ever quite digested much of anything and I was always full. It was probably from the gas produced by all the fiber from the vegetarian food! Anyway, it was kind of a bust.
Monday: In India. Managed to do an hour of improvised lifting. Amazing.
Tuesday: In India. Rest.
Wednesday: In India. Rest. Wanted to lift but was very sore. Maybe tomorrow.
Thursday: In India. Rest. STILL SORE! ACK! Finally figured out that I had lifted TOO MUCH weight because the numbers I was seeing as pounds on the dumbells were actually in kilograms! I am a DOLT!
Friday: Leaving for the States at 2am. Arriving at 2pm.Arrived at 3pm but who quibbles over an hour delay over the course of a 14 hour flight?? Now me! :o)
Saturday: No idea. It's good to be home!!! I actually was so excited to be home that I got on the bike and rode for an hour! YEAH!!
Sunday: No idea. Okay. Trying to get serious. Went out and ran for about 45 minutes. Slow. My legs hurts. Nothing new.

Total Running Miles: 4.0 miles (record: 26.9 miles)
Total Biking Miles: 17.1 (record: 67.8)
Total Swimming Yards: 0 yards (record: 3300)
Total Strength Training Days: 1 times
Total Workout Hours: 1:45:05
I have two weeks before the next hiatus. Gotta get in gear!!
Monday: Scary Trainer.
Tuesday: Run 30 minutes.
Wednesday: Scary Trainer.
Thursday: Run 30 minutes.
Friday: Run 45 minutes.
Saturday: Bike 1 hour.
Sunday: Run 1 hour

Home again!

I am home.

Home, Sweet Home!!
Gotta love it.
I left at 2am and arrived at 3pm. Same day. Who says you can't go back in time??

I also love flying Air France.
The first leg from Bangalore to Paris is much longer - 2 hours longer, which means that I get to actually SLEEP!
The second leg from Paris is Boston is like a hop over to England. Easy Peasy as my friend Abby would say.
I think that managing jet lag this time around will be much easier!

Carrying over a box of vases wasn't a big deal either. No extra charges, it was under the weight limit for business class passengers. Yahoo! And I had no qualms using a cart when I pick up my luggage.

The next trip is to Ohio in two weeks. I wonder how much weight i have to lose in two weeks before I go to Ohio? Because you KNOW that when I am in Ohio, my resolve will break and I will be eating and drinking a lot toward the end. Sigh...

I need to post pictures of the vases when we get them set up!

At the airport

One gate.
But they expanded the sitting area.
Thank god.

I am on my way home!
Happy happy happy!!

I actually missed the Dingle Doggie. I would never have believed that was possible.
And of course, I missed my Hunny Bunny!

Air France worked well on the way to India.
I will judge how it works for the return trip.
I think I am in the first class cabin for business class again! Yahoo!
And there was no incident with checking the big box with the two vases in it. No additional fees either. The box is actually a tad smaller than my suit case. I don't know how I do it but every time I come here, I go back with my suitcase barely able to be zipped. And this time was no exception! And it wasn't filled when I came to India and it also had a big box of industrial sized cereal from Costco for someone's kid here. When I took it out, there was a BIG OLE GAPING HOLE and the suitcase was only half filled. And now? I could barely get the zipper zipped!

More to come.

New Resturant in Mysore

I'd like to mention that we went back to Mysore this past weekend. One of the people traveling with me had not been there to see Mysore Palace so we went back. At first I wasn't thrilled with the idea. But this time, we ended up getting a guide, and I had forgotten how beautiful it is. So the guide really shed some light on the whole of Mysore history, the royal family, and the actual palace.

We also had lunch at the Lalitha Mahal Palace which has been converted into a hotel. As always there was a buffet and it was actually quite good.

My home state made me proud

Obama won North Carolina.

More importantly...
Shrillary Lost.

Food Alert!

UGH!!!!! I HATE International Travel!!! The jet lag is the least of it.

My diet is so messed up. Everything in India is carbs!!!!
I've never noticed it before. But then I wasn't watching what I was eating either. I can't believe the gunk that is going into my system. And if it;ss protein, they are all smothered in sauces!!! And you sop it all up with BREAD!

And TONS of sugar. LOTS of sugar. The sweets here outdo the word "sweet!"
No wonder diabetes is on the rise here!!!

I am going to have to do a cleansing when I get home.

Training in India

TIME: Monday, 5/5/08 4:20 PM

I managed to get in weight workout this morning, however abbreviated it might be. I wrote down all of the workouts I do with ST and it's hard without a bar bell. My shoulders can only take so much weight.

I ended up with some squats and bicep curls which I never do. Some tricep presses and bent over rows. I don't know if it's the jet lag but I found it all incredibly difficult.

I didn't touch the treadmill. It's too damn not in the room. Luckily I had the whole place to myself. I do not think that people in India work out at all.

I am hoping to do another workout on Thursday morning. We'll see.

India Report

Time: 10:31 PM IST.

We arrived safe and sound this morning around 3am. Just an hour late. Good news is that we are still at the old airport, which means that instead of the estimated two hour drive to the hotel, it only took us about 45 minutes.

We are staying at the Taj West End and this time, I am closer to the main building, right next to the pool area. Not too bad. It's like a veranda room. I have a veranda that I enter through. Room is smaller than my last one.

After a short sleep, we had lunch around noon and then went shopping near the Commercial Street.I ended up buying presents for our Nephew Luke and some odds and ends for Joe's sisters and mother, a vase for my sister in law, a few things for the house - brass swans and large vases in two sizes all with intricate hand carvings. They will go into the dining room. They were about $350 USD and I will have to check them as hand luggage but it's the kind of thing you just can't find in America! And if you do, it's not as big and will cost 10 times as much. My massage therapist who is from India said that the local antique dealer (Mohr and McPherson) charges 1 rupee to the dollar. That's pretty bad since the current exchange rate is about 40 rupees to the dollar.

Then we went to dinner at my ex-manager's new house that he had built and moved into late last year. It was amazing. It's huge by Indian standards. But everywhere you look, there is polished granite. He even had polished onyx in the floor as accent highlights.

Now, I am totally exhauted and totally full! My stomach is refusing to digest food. This is going to be an interesting week.

Random thought: Hairy ears

Ok. One thing I've noticed in my travels. Indian men had hairy ears. Sometimes its on the outer ears. Sometimes it's inside growing out.

Nevertheless, they are hairy ears and I find it rather interesting and disgusting at the same time.

Business Class

I am sitting in Business Class on Air France.

Its not like any business class I've ever sat in. It's more like First. Actually, I think it IS first class but it's a business class flight and I happened to be able to snag seat in the normal first class section.

And the seats recline almost to a full prone position. Almost. The legs sortof slope down. But it's better than just the usual reclining position.

And before I got on the plane, I waited in the lounge, aka The Salon... And they have CHEESE and crackers, unlike cheapo Lufthansa that just has crackers.

Needless to say, I'm flying Air France to India from now on.
